About Annie T. Greenleaf
Annie T. Greenleaf
Attorney at Law
Annie Greenleaf’s commitment to personal service and promotion of justice is reflected through her work with individuals from all walks of life and vast social, economic, cultural and financial backgrounds. Annie has represented businesses as well as individuals through difficult and challenging circumstances, and has advocated to advance their interests and create opportunities whenever possible. Her practice includes representation in civil, criminal and juvenile matters in California.
Since 2009, Annie has made hundreds of court appearances, conducted trials, prepared briefs, and she served as counsel for individuals engaged in multi-party litigation. Throughout that time, she has represented businesses, individuals, mothers, fathers, children, and relatives of children involved in juvenile and family court proceedings. She has successfully collaborated to negotiate settlement agreements, including dismissals and other resolutions to protect her clients’ dignity, preserve their rights, and promote long-term success. However, if a trial is on the horizon, Annie enthusiastically embraces the challenge and steadfastly moves forward.
Annie attended UCLA, graduating with a bachelors degree in Political Science, specializing in International Relations. Once in law school, Annie began her legal career working with the Innocence Project, assisting in the exoneration of individuals wrongly convicted of crimes. After being admitted to the California State Bar in 2009, Annie worked with Bay Area Legal Aid, representing individuals faced with housing crises. She later moved to San Diego, where her work focused on representing individuals in child welfare/dependency proceedings. She has represented hundreds of individuals involved in all aspects of child welfare proceedings, from the inception of the case through its completion.
After forming Connective Legal Services, Annie remains committed to public interest work, representing parents, children, and their caregivers in child welfare proceedings as well as in family law matters. Applying the same work ethic, devotion and mindset, she has broadened her current practice to encompass the entire spectrum of challenges confronted by families throughout their lifetimes. With extensive legal experience in issues arising out of allegations of domestic violence, substance abuse, child abuse/neglect, and child custody, Annie has since expanded her practice to include criminal matters, protective orders, guardianship/permanency planning for children, and child custody matters in family law cases.
Because Annie enjoys the challenges faced in an ever-growing and changing environment, her current practice also includes representing and working with businesses through various aspects of growth – from formation, developing operation agreements, contracts, to restructuring and dissolution.
On her free time, Annie takes advantage of the array of outdoor activities San Diego has to offer, and you can often find her rock climbing, enjoying Balboa Park, or training for her next marathon.

Annie was extremely helpful in getting my branding trademarked! And just in the knick of time as I had a challenge only a week after filing. If not for her pushing me to submit my application, I would have been out of luck!Scott
